the press conference of “18 methods for scientific fitness” holds in beijing

in order to commemorate the 10th“national fitness day” and the 10th anniversary of the successful completion of beijing olympic games, the general administration of sports of china and all-china sports federation held the press conference of “18 methods for scientific fitness”（ in short “18 methods”） on august 7, 2018. cao hui, deputy director of science and education department of general administration of sports of china, feng lianshi and yang jie, vice presidents of ciss, other government departments’ leaders and three olympic champions attended this press conference which was hosted by tu xiaodong, director of press and publicity department of general administration of sports of china.
aimed to wildly spread the concepts of scientific exercise, the“18 methods” was created by ciss which included 18 exercise tips for the relaxation of shoulder, neck, waist, lower limb joints, and muscles. the creation of “18 methods” was based on the research evidences of mass sports science and the data from physical exercise survey among chinese population. the exercise tips in “18 methods” were easy to learn and implement in all-aged population, only simple exercise field and environment were required. the “18 methods” was approved by many experts from ciss, beijing sport university, shanghai university of sport, etc.
feng lianshi, vice president of ciss, emphasized that the general administration of sports of china and all-china sports federation will continue to carry out various extensive fitness activities nationwide in the light of fitness demands of the masses. according to the purposes and requirements of “healthy china 2030 plan” and “national fitness program （2016-2020）”, we will create and release more scientific fitness methods in the future and help to achieve the goal of healthy china.
